Dear supposed best friend,

I don’t even know what the term best friend means anymore. All you do is push me aside. We’ve known each other like we were 7 and we get along like sisters. Yet you refuse to make time for me anymore. You’d rather spend all your time with him. Thanks for leaving me, it’s opened my eyes considerably.

And I’m always last. How nice would it be to be someone’s first choice and not the second. I always get there too late and miss out on awesome chances. It’s great that other people are finding happiness and you want that person to be happy, but you really want that person to be happy with you. Not someone else. But sometimes things just happen and we can fight against them all we want, but it doesn’t change a thing.
I’m hoping that I get to a point that I’m just so busy, I’ll forget that I’m lonely, but at nights as I lie in bed, I’ll remember. It’ll come flooding back as if someone opened the flood gates.
I was foolish to think that something would become of this.
